Engineering Excellency centre
Turbomachinery is in the process of establisity an Engineering Excellency Centre to take up activities connected with up-gradation of existing power plants, involving Thermodynamic Calculations and CFD analysis. Also, the centre is to take up Renovation & Modernization (R & M) jobs of Centrifugal Compressers involving
1) Replacement of existing 2D impellers by 3D for performance improvement in terms of efficiency and flow
2) Replacement of dry gas seals in place of conventional oil seals.
