Turbomachinery Engineering Industries Ltd, undertakes turnkey EPC contracts for supply of Balance of Plant (BOP) as per the customer needs comprising, complete Mechanical, Electrical, C&I and Civil works of the Projects. These projects were undertaken for many clients in the core sectors in India wherein the main equipments like Boilers and Steam Turbine Generators were supplied by the OEMs like Shin Nippon - Japan , BHEL, Kaluga Turbine Works-Russia and Turbomachinery has engineered, procured and constructed the balance of plant. In the execution of such projects we worked closely with reputed consultants like EIL, AVANT-GARDE etc.
Principal activities and scope of work for BOP Contracts:
Design & Engineering: The entire equipment of Balance of Plant is designed and engineered to suite the main equipment of the Power Island like Boiler and Steam Turbine Generator. These include
Mechanical equipment like Water systems, Steam systems, Fuel and Ash handling systems, Hoisting Equipment, Inter connecting piping etc.
Electrical and C&I Equipment like Switch yard, Power Transformers, Switch Gear, DCS, Control & Instrumentation etc.,
Civil Works: Foundations for Power Island equipments, TG building, Chimney, Cooling Towers etc .
Procurement: Turbomachinery undertakes the responsibility to procure the required equipment for the project strictly as per the specifications made by the Engineering Department from the reputed vendors spread all over the country. Procurement of the equipment is made in accordance with the project schedule so as to complete the project on time without carrying inventory burden.
Construction: The construction of plant and equipment is completed as per the Bar chart made for project completion, meeting all the specifications / requirements of the consultants and statutory authorities.
Co-ordination with consultancy agencies:
In the execution of various projects, we have close interaction and association with many of the leading consultancy agencies in India like EIL, DCPL, Jacobs H & G, M.N.Dastur, Avant - Garde, Uhde etc.
Statutory approvals/ clearances:
We closely associate with the client and help him in obtaining statutory approvals from authorities like inspector of boilers (IBR), regional electricity authorities, etc. for running of the power plants.
